who are interested in all types
of sport fishing. |
The SWWA is
incorporated and operates as a non-profit, non-sectarian
organization. Dedicated to the conservation and preservation of the
fisheries resources in the Pacific Northwest.
The clubs purpose is to work
with and encourage constituted authorities and other conservation
organizations to promote sportfishing in a sportsmanlike manner.
Provide scientific and practical assistance to fisheries management
of land and water resources. Assist management of watersheds
to provide a viable aquatic habitat. Preserve and enhance fisheries
through wise angling regulations. Provide our members and the
general public with accurate information on sport fisheries and
promote and maintain friendly relations between land owners and
sportsmen.
Why
you should join SWWA...
The club supports other organizations that help preserve and enhance
all types of fishing in the Pacific Northwest.
Our members themselves are involved and support activities that help
protect and improve local fisheries such as; Fin Clipping, Fish
Feeding, Stream Enhancement and Garbage Collection.
Whether you own a boat or not,
you'll be able to fish with other members who post scheduled outings
on the club's activities website
(click
here to be redirected to the activities website). We sponsor and participate in
fishing derbies through out the year.
Monthly meetings
include specialty speakers who keep us informed and up to date on
the sportfishing interest as well as information on place to fish
and different techniques.
